Finally, the last pieces of the crèche came together and we can finally lay our eyes on the product of 2 years of hard work: raising money, finding the right contractor and finally seeing the building process through.
The crèche consists of a main building, a separate small building with a flush toilet and a playground.
A collaboration
The money for the crèche was provided by both Ava Charity and the Impande Foundation. Impande also provided their expertise in building crèches in South Africa to make sure the building phase went without a hiccup.
Now we just need to wait for the covid-19 restrictions to ease up so that the children will be allowed to come!
