Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder that causes anemia. In its most severe form, the condition can be fatal or cause great suffering and requires regular blood transfusions and hospital stays. We wanted to contribute to something that could brighten the hospital stays for the kids receiving regular transfusions.
We raised money through the sale of lottery tickets and contributed to expand the library and build a jungle gym in a hospital in Sri Lanka.
